PRIVACY POLICY: At Liberty Trust & Savings Bank we recognize the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of our customers' information. The basis of each customer's relationship, many of which span generations, is trust. Customers have chosen to do business with Liberty Trust & Savings Bank, and we honor that relationship by caring, especially about the information they have chosen to share with us. We believe a customer's' privacy should not be compromised. We respect an individual's right to have his or her nonpublic personal information remain private and secure; therefore, we take steps to safeguard customer information, including restricting access to personal and account information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services. Physical, electronic and procedural safeguards have been established to guard your nonpublic personal information. We may collect nonpublic personal information about you on applications or other loan and account forms, transactions with us and others and third parties such as credit bureaus. "Nonpublic personal information" is information about you that we obtain in connection with providing a financial product or service to you. For example, nonpublic personal information includes information regarding your account balance and history. In response to a transaction initiated by you, we may disclose nonpublic personal information to the following types of "affiliates" (companies related to us by common control or ownership) and "nonaffiliated third parties" (third parties that are not related to us by common control or ownership): financial service providers, securities broker-dealers, insurance agents, retailers and others. In addition, we may disclose information to companies or other financial institutions with which we may have joint marketing arrangements, including information we receive from you on applications and other forms and information about transactions with us, such as your account balance and history. An example of a non-affiliated third party with which we have a joint marketing arrangement is the financial institution that administers credit cards bearing the name, Liberty Trust & Savings Bank. We are permitted, and in certain circumstances required under law, to disclose nonpublic personal information about you to non-affiliated third parties. For example, we may disclose nonpublic personal information about you to third parties to obtain credit reports from credit bureaus, to assist us in servicing your loan or account with us and to respond to subpoenas from governmental entities. If you close your account(s) or become an inactive customer, we will continue to adhere to the privacy policies and practices described in this notice.
